MIDWEST® 3 Piece Aviation Snip Sets include a Left Cut, Right Cut, and Straight Cut Aviation Snip and are ideal for trim cuts of sheet materials in any direction with added cut length and versatility from the Straight Cut model. These snips feature GLIDETECH® FORGED BLADES: unequaled strength, longest lasting edge life, and the most precise cutting action. Blades are hot drop forged of molybdenum alloy steel and Austemper® heat-treated to best accept and hold their precision ground cutting edge. Blades cut complete from “pinch of the blades through their points” and pivot on a Grade 8 bolt that is threaded and affixed into the bottom blade keeping blades in precision adjustment, and if ever necessary, allowing them to be readjusted extending peak performance. Equipped with KUSH’N-POWER® (US D718,602, D719,808) compound leverage handle action which multiplies handle force while providing a soft, sturdy and comfortable grip. Set includes models MWT-6716L, MWT-6716R, and MWT-6716S. Made in USA!

These Midwest snips really are the best. Forged serrated cutting edges are so much better than the cheaper ones. This offset handle design is perfect in between the inline handles and the 90-degree offset handles.
And I have to really credit the service from Supply Maverick -- the three snips arrived in no time! Clearly packaged up the same day I ordered and went out that night. Would not hesitate to use them again. And I wasn't worried about getting some counterfeits in their place. Way better than the smile place!!
