Description

LoGrip is a low profile, metal to wood roofing screw that has a refined appearance compared to the traditional hex head roofing screw. Features include T25 star drive, Hi-Lo threads, is mechanically galvanized for corrosion protection, and has an EPDM rubber washer that incorporates a secure seal. LoGrip provides a good grip to hold your metal roofing in place by having a type 17 drill point for easy penetration. This low-profile fastener is also available in 1” without a washer for interior liner panels. Click here to view.

Low profile but hard rubber washer

Instead of using the traditional hex head screw because I thought it would give a more lower profile. The rubber washer that comes with these are very hard, so turns out, they don’t sink very well. It will dimple the metal siding before it actually sinks it all the way. I would suggest trying to find a softer rubber washer that will allow it to kind of smash into the siding better.
