You only need the snow guards and screws; no extra caulk is necessary! Fasteners are not included, but the Supply Maverick has you covered with metal fasteners and roofing screws. The embossed groove on the Snow Defender 4500 isn't just for looks; it increases its rigidity by 40%, making it even more durable! However, the Snow Defender 4500 is not made for use with standing seam roofing, but it does come with a 15-year warranty.

The patented Snow Defender 6500 snow guard is designed for most standing seam roofs and is preferred for most roofers. It fits standing seams up to 3/8″ width and most 1” through 1-3/4″ seam heights without penetrating the roof. Like the Snow Defender Snow Guard 4500, the 6500 model features powder-coated type 304 stainless steel and is available in multiple colors. It also has 410 stainless steel set screws to prevent seizing. The Snow Defender 6500 Snow Guard will not work for all standing seam panel systems depending on their measurements, so it is advised that you verify fit before ordering. Like the Snow Defender 6500, the Snow Defender 7500 also comes with 410 stainless steel set screws to prevent seizing and fits standing seam panels with seams up to 3/8" width and 1" to 1-3/4" seam height. The Snow Defender 7500 snow guard will not work for all standing seam panel systems, so we recommend you verify its fit.
