Description

Hardy Rib Snow Rail is perfect for Exposed Fastener metal roofing systems. There are twenty pieces of four-foot snow rails included in this kit which allow for easy installation. No worrying about carrying long pieces of snow rails up a ladder. Each Hardy Rib Snow Guard is made from 29 gauge Galvalume steel and includes 2″ fasteners to secure the snow rails to the roof. Installation instructions can be found in the images and are also included in the package.

Hardy Rib Snow Rail 4ft.

They arrived with good shipping and faster than I thought. So I proceeded to read instructions, measure where I wanted them and within one hour I had them installed. Now this winter I will see how they preform and help save me some work with sliding snow. I would reccommend these to anyone looking for a nice, easy way to control snow sliding off. J.K.

Hardy Rib Snow Rail

The rails were well packed with the provided fasteners and were delivered promptly and undamaged. FYI: The rail sections are 48" long so make sure to plan for your specific application. I installed them on a standing seam roof so I had to overlap and rivet the joints offset from the rib anchor screws. This used more rail material than I had initially planned (my fault not a part issue). I also used butyl tape between the snow rail and roof rib to provide additional leak protection at the screw connection.

I’ve installed these twice now and the colors r great the install is fast and easy waiting to see the snow load they hold but seem good
