Yes this product is made to withstand temperatures of over 500 degrees on a single wall pipe. A double wall pipe will have much lower temperatures than a single wall pipe.
The Aztec Washer pipe boot flashings would be fastened using EPDM-washer metal roofing fasteners at the rim of the boot after sealant is applied, as shown in the top right of the second picture in the gallery details page. Typically, the same style fasteners that were used for the roof itself. If this is being used on a hidden fastener roof, you can still use the EPDM metal roofing fasteners, or some opt to use a sealant like Novaflex Metal roof sealant or Everseal SB190 to glue the boot in place.
